MistXI is a private FFXI community. Created and maintained by launch day players looking to re-kindle the love of the game. MistXI servers are hosted in an actual datacenter environment on enterprise class hardware to ensure the best and fastest experience possible. Running on the LandSandBoat emulation software (based on the famous Darkstar Project), there is a long history of support and active development to keep the party going until a final version of FFXI is a achieved.
